I have always had a passion for hair for as long as I can remember.
I was born and raised in Mendocino County where I completed my cosmetology schooling and became licensed in 2011. I went on to work with many senior stylists who have helped me perfect my skill and build my business. Over the years I’ve learned that trying new techniques and continued education is a must in this industry. After working for 9 years at a wonderful salon in my hometown, I decided to move to Sonoma County to continue my career and further my clientele. After a year of welcoming new faces in my chair at another great location, the opportunity came along to open Lighten Up Hair Studio! Over the years I have specialized in blonding and balayage, Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatments, extensions, and customized haircuts.
For those who really enjoy the one on one experience with their stylist, Lighten Up Hair Studio is the place for you. Here you can relax and enjoy a variety of beverages while your pampering is in progress. Free parking is always available and the studio is located just a few blocks away from all of downtown Santa Rosa’s great shopping and restaurants!

In my free time, I am usually spending time with my girl, Daisy. She brings so much love and joy into my life! You may get to meet her, as she loves joining me at work! Spending time with friends and family is also very important to me. Together we enjoy thrift store shopping, trying new restaurants in different cities, and going on weekend trips. I have also grown to really enjoy cooking meals and I am always on the hunt for new recipes to try. Feel free to share your favorites with me!
